PodsCast #007: ACT’s, Pages & Template Tricks – Displaying Data in Pods Pt. 4

Advanced Content Types (ACT’s) were the first available Custom Post Types back when Pods first hit the scene and have their history tied to Drupal and CCK. Today they’re used primarily to create database tables outside of the WordPress structure so that external systems can interface with the content. Existing outside but inside WordPress creates some special kinds of use cases which is why we have Pods Pages, Pods Templates and a whole group of other ways to interact with ACT’s.

This is a live event, which will be held on Tuesday June 9th at 2PM eastern (6PM UTC), so you can join in and ask the Pods team any questions you have about Advanced Content Types, Pods Pages & Pods Templates. There will be live music and live coding!

If you are watching live, you can ask questions in the #podscast channel of our Slack or by tweeting them at us. All episodes of the Podscast can be viewed at any time on our Youtube channel.
