Going Static on Git

Table of Contents

Well, sometimes I’m stubborn.

Web 3.0 - imo - is seeing more sites back to static.

Because it’s fun!

No WordPress, no db, no cms - just plain old HTML, text editor, Markdown - you get it.

Simpler, faster, better?

Better a in sense of not thrashing the server, setting up dbs, getting knocked on, etc.

This page/site built with Hugo.

Connecting Hugo with Forestry …

Tried Forestry - very promosing, but does not (yet) support v.32 - soon.

What else?

This nifty site also is being served up from GitHub.

Who’s hosting this?

Not me!
